Sinopsis
Secret Royal Inspector
Diatur menjelang akhir era Joseon, Sung Yi-Gyeom (Kim Myung-Soo) ditempatkan pertama dalam ujian negara dan dia sekarang bekerja di Hongmungwan (departemen administrasi dan penelitian). Dia tidak memiliki tujuan atau ambisi untuk hidupnya. Suatu hari, Sung Yi-Gyeom kedapatan sedang berjudi. Sebagai hukuman, dia ditugaskan untuk bekerja sebagai inspektur rahasia kerajaan. Tugasnya memberantas tindakan ilegal dan korupsi oleh pejabat publik. Dia menjalankan pekerjaan barunya dengan bantuan Hong Da-In (Kwon Na-Ra) dan Park Chun-Sam (Lee Yi-Kyung). Hong Da-In adalah seorang inspektur wanita dan menyelesaikan kasus dengan Sung Yi-Gyeom. Park Chun-Sam adalah pelayan Sung Yi-Gyeom. Park Chun-Sam banyak bicara, penyayang, dan menangis.
Sementara itu, Sung Yi-Beom (Lee Tae-Hwan) adalah adik tiri Sung Yi-Gyeom yang lebih muda. Ayahnya adalah seorang bangsawan, tapi ibunya adalah seorang budak. Karena status sosial ibunya yang rendah, ayahnya tidak menerima dia sebagai anak kandungnya dan dia dilarang memiliki kesempatan tertentu. Dia menentang kakak tirinya Sung Yi-Gyeom.
